Our mission
We are promoting, discovering and encouraging the young dancers and acrobats, across the globe, as they take the stage to share their passion, grace, creativity, techniques and artistry.
We are offering to all dancers, acrobats and choreographers the opportunity to explore their own style and knowledges through their creativity and artistic compositions.
We encourage collaboration and exchange of experience between participants, promoting the values of friendship, culture and mutual respect.
We are enhancing on stage performance through a healthy competition which involves fostering a supportive environment that motives, focusing on personal growth and shared success rather than just winning. By setting clear, achievable goals, encouraging constructive feedback, and promoting teamwork, performers are motivated to push their limits and excel.
About the Competition
The competition is addressed to all individual participants, and to all institutions as State Academies / Schools or Private Schools, Dance Studios, Associations or Clubs.

Sections and Maximum time limits:
Solo: 2 min 30 sec
Duo / Trio / Quartet (2, 3, 4 dancers): 3 min
Group (5 – 12 dancers): 3 min 30 sec
Formation (over 13 dancers): 4 min 30 sec
Age categories
Pre-Junior: 7-9 years
Junior 1: 10-12 years
Junior 2: 13-15 years
Youth: 16-18 years
Adults: 19-26 years
To obtain the average age of the dancers, an arithmetic mean will be taken: the ages of all dancers are added, then divided by the total number of dancers. If the result of the average age ends in 0.5 or higher, it will be rounded up to the next whole number (for example from 7.5 to 8).
* If a competitor dances in the group who is older than the average age of the group, the dance will be entered in the age category of this dancer.
For example: The group has the age for "Junior 1" and the exception dancer is "Junior 2", the dance is entered in the age category "Junior 2".
The organizer reserves the right to request proof of the age of the dancers (birth certificates / identity cards).
Note: Depending on the number of entrants, the organizer reserves the right to combine different categories/dance disciplines.

Music
Music will be uploaded in the registration form.
It is recommended that the representative of each competitor has the music pieces on a USB stick, so that in case of technical difficulties with the transmitted songs, there is an alternative.
Music from the phone / Youtube is NOT PERMITTED.
Each representative of the dance school is responsible for respecting the copyrights of the music used in the competition.
Offensive, racist and / or sexually explicit lyrics are prohibited. Failure to comply with these rules will result in disqualification from the competition.
Judging criteria

- Stage presence, expressiveness.
The jury will award marks from 1 to 10, using a digitalized, flexible and adaptable judging system, designed for organizing competitions.
Essential elements: Clear evaluation criteria.
Support for jurors: The platform offers electronic tablets for members of the arbitration committee, ensuring a fast and efficient digital evaluation.
Communication and transparency: Results are transmitted in real time.
Competition schedule
The competition will start at 9:00 a.m. of SATURDAY, 25th JULY, 2026.
Access to the hall will be made starting from 8:00 a.m.
Each choreographer / coach will receive the competition schedule from the organizers in due time.
All competitors will enter the competition in accordance with the competition schedule.
Awards
All participants will receive a participation certificate and gifts.
Places 1st, 2nd & 3rd: certificates, trophies/cups, vouchers, scholarships and other special surprises!
For special Prizes mentions, judge prizes are awarded with medals, certificates and other gifts.
The best-scored dance moment will be rewarded with a prize. In case of a tie, the dance will be performed again for a tiebreaker.
General Rules
By registering for the “BRIGHT ON STAGE” Competition, competitors accept the rules and regulations of the organizers.
The organizers reserve the right to verify the age of the dancers, either before or after their performance. Dancers must be able to prove their age.
A representative from each dance school must be present backstage for at least 6 artistic moments before entering the competition.
The organizers do not assume responsibility for any accidents that may occur during the competition. Unsportsmanlike and disruptive behavior during the event may disqualify the competitor and, in certain cases, the dance school may be eliminated from the competition.
Teachers, coaches, companions, as well as spectators, are urged to behave appropriately for such an event.
Indecent costumes will be avoided.
The same dancer can compete for two schools, but not in the same discipline or category.
Competitors can participate with several choreographic/ artistic moments, but different disciplines.
For each choreographic moment, the registration form must be completed and submitted.
All registered competitors who have received confirmation of registration have the right to participate.
The organizers reserve the right to verify whether the number of participants on stage during the artistic moment is equal to the number of participants registered in advance.
Only group coordinators will have access backstage.
Competitors can rehearse in the foyer before the start of the competition.
Parents will not be allowed access backstage except in the exceptional case where competitors have rapid changes between moments.
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the processing being necessary for the organization of the Festival.
By participating in this festival, all competitors and their companions (parents, teachers, etc.) agree that their names, images, voices and photographs may be used, reproduced and published unlimitedly for promotional purposes, both by the organizers and their partners and sponsors. This includes the use of audio-video materials recorded on stage, at rehearsals or in public, on the official website and on other digital platforms. Participation in the competition indicates understanding and acceptance of this policy.
Please keep all access areas, toilets and changing rooms clean.
Please do not block the corridors, stairwells and emergency exits.
The organizers are not obliged to cover the costs of accommodation, travel, meals of participants in the competition.
Props that bring inconvenience to other participants are prohibited (e.g. oil, fluff, talcum powder, etc.). Special effects, such as: open fire or fireworks, are prohibited.
Accessories are allowed, as long as they are placed quickly before the choreography begins and removed from the stage at the end of the number by the dancer.
Smoking is prohibited inside the institution and inside the hall;
Food and drink consumption allowed ONLY in the foyer and courtyard of the institution.
